3,4-divanillytetrahydrofuran functions by attaching itself to SHBG, increasing tesosterone and estradiol. SHBG, or Sex Hormone Binding Globulin is used to regulate active hormones in your body. In theory this will increase free testosterone and result in increased estradiol.

Users of 3,4-divanillytetrahydrofuran should be aware however that there is relatively little scholarly research surrounding the compound, but evidence does exist to suggest that the binding process takes place. 3,4-divanillytetrahydrofuran can be found in few products now-a-days since it was discontinued in its production in Gaspari Halodrol. It is available in the UK within the product Androbolix 2000 by Biorhythm, though the legalities on this are unknown.
