Default ANS Transform - Vasquez Log (03/01/12)

Hi everyone, Physique kindly provided me with a tub of ANS Transform to test and log on this forum. The supplement is totally natural and aimed at raising thyroid output, boosting recovery and enhancing general
feelings of well being. There are 60 caps in total to be run at 3ed spread over an average day.

I am currently training according to IFBB Pro Ben Pakulskis MI40 system, and only recently started. In which case i wil llog my exercises but not weights as i am still finding my feet and on average am having to drop
around 20kg on each exercise to complete the sets according to the MI40 principles. Each MI40 workout so far has resulted in extreme muscle soreness, so hopefully Transform can assist.

I train a 4 day split with the following groupings:

    Saturday - Quads & Calves
    Sunday - Chest & Biceps
    Tuesday - Back & Hams
    Thursday - Delts & Triceps

Inbetween i do fasted gentle jogs with my doggies around the local woods for around 3omins. Also note that i add 3 servings of Scivation Xtend to a 1.5 litre bottle and drink throughout the day.

I have included a current picture, i am at 10% presently. My main goals are to increase bicep thickness, address a quad imbalance and grow my calves another inch.

Hi Hierbi, great detailed blog. Im looking forward to seeing more about how well you do whilst using the ANS Transform. It has gained quite a following on the forum and will be very interesting to see some monitored results.

Do you have any info on the MI40 training regime too? I must admit this is a new one for me?

Best of luck with it Buddy.

Thanks m8! Yeah Transform certainly seems to be an interesting one....hoping it will help me improve my conditioning before i go on holiday later this month.

MI40 is quite a comprehensive system, but the basics are 40second rest, 8 rep working sets with triple drops on last set of each exercise, to be done over 40days with a tempo of 4 secs for negative, and 1sec for positive...on quad day i literally had to drop 20kg in order to be able to do it properly. There are also some nice techniques which allow you to apply even more focus.....one that i particularly like is to place the water bottle between the legs whilst doing leg extensions to increase the tension and focus on the inner teardrop....works a treat!!! I'm loving the system so far! Its made me ache more and longer than any system i can remember. In which case i hope Transform can boost recovery and reduce DOMS....which to be honest have been ridiculous this first week of MI40....quads were still sore yesterday! Back is starting to ache now, and i can feel it creeping in on my hammies too.

I'm also hoping Sovereign will be officially released by the time i return from holiday as my goal this year is to compete in the NPA SouthEast (work and home commitments permitting). For that i really need to bring lots of stuff up, including my calves and biceps. Which actually hit a tad over 18" pumped after workout on sunday.

    Wednesday 04/01/12
    06.45 - Fat Burner + Alcar
    07.30 - Fasted Jog with dogs (35mins)
    08.20 - 2granolas + 2scoops humapro + vit c
    11.00 - High Protein Cookie
    14.00 - Raw Spinach + 200g Turkey Chunks + 375g of steak seasoned potatoes + 1xTransform
    16.30 - 2XRezolution
    18.00 - 2 Lean Gammon Steaks + 2 (onecal spray) fried eggs + 6 roast potatoes + broccoli + peas
    21.00 - 6epa caps + 2scoops Humapro + 1xTransform
    23.00 - 1 serving Xtend

No obvious effect from the Transform as of yet, but am pretty convinced within around half an hour after taking i feel a warm sensation and the meals i take the Transform with do appear to digest rather swiftly, but i need longer to gauge if this is indeed associated with taken the supplement. I took the Transform quite late last night and did have problems sleeping i felt very mentally awake, but i will experiment with dosing times to see if this is a side effect and what are the optimum timings for Transform.

Tomorrow is Delts & Triceps, cant wait...i know my triceps are going to be killing me on friday....or will they.....?

Heirbi this is a fantastic, detailed log. I'm very excited to hear your thoughts on the Transform product.

I'm not familiar with Rezolution (who is this by and what it is).

And the M140 training system sounds very interesting. You really do like your high volume training, which is unusual for a natural athlete. Have you always trained with such high volume? Ever experimented with low volume, less frequency?

If you do get a chance to log your weights, or comment on whether you feel your strength increases are due solely to the new training, or a combination of the new training protocol combined with the Transform.

Lol i usually hate higher volume, my normal workouts are based on 9 sets for smaller muscle groups and 12 to 14 for larger max. But the thing i like about the new system is that the main rep range is 8, which is always my sweet spot, and on the breaks from the routine i'll just do 6 to 8 rep workouts. I'm literally just testing the water to see how i respond to this routine as it has intrigued me,i genuinely have a lot of respect for Ben Pakulski he is a really knowledgeable guy and has stated on many occasions that the MI40 system is based upon principles which apply to natty and assisted bodybuilders. His own training partner is a natty champion. Plus i am using my 'take' on MI0 it is not exactly as his programme is set out...i am doing no higher rep stuff, and i wont be having weeks where i will leave particular muscle groups out.

Rezolution is a fat burner by LG Sciences, i found a couple of leftover caps in my pill box.

Once i have settled in weight wise i probably will log the kg's, but they wont be anywhere near my usual lifts, an example being 90degree barbell press, usually i do around 80kg for 8 clean reps, but today using MI40 i was using 60kg
