    Default Cyclone alternatives

Hey guys, recently found this article on the web, what you think?

    MaxiMuscle Cyclone Alternatives

With the recent increase in price of MaxiMuscle Cyclone, the most repeated question I have been asked has been, 'What are the best Cyclone alternatives'?
To fully answer that question we would need first to break down why Cyclone has become so popular, and offer the best RANKED recommendations depending upon why you take the product: Taste, Price, Quality and Ingredients. We will of course be following this with ranked alternatives, and how Cyclone faired in our review and testing process.

    Taste
It is true that for many years protein Shakes were the vilest consumable known to man. I remember the early versions consisted of almost no flavour, were impossible to mix and left a very bitter after taste. Usually you find that the better tasting proteins are those with high sugars and lower levels of actual protein. With this in mind all comparative products will contain around the 25g of protein which Cyclone does.

    1st- Winner: CytoSport Muscle Milk
    2nd-Runner-up: CEL 1 Stop Synthesis
    3rd -Runner-up CNP Pro-Solo
    5th- MaxiMuscle Cyclone

    Price
Cyclone was historically seen as a very good value product. The combination of protein, amino acids, carbohydrates and creatine created an all-in-one formula that would have been much more expensive where the ingredients bought separately. Due to this we compared other all-in-one products to the increased Maximuscle Price (£43.99), using an average of 5 top websites.

    1st-Winner: CEL 1 Stop Synthesis. £30.12
    2nd-Runner-up: SciMX OmniMX Hardcore: £30.96
    3rd-Runner-up: CNP Pro-Solo: £31.95
    23rd -Maximuscle Cyclone

    Quality
Despite the high volumes that have been sold of Cyclone over the years it may surprise you that it is not typically seen as the best quality protein available. Though the high marketing budget of owners Nestle mat have you believe otherwise. Of course there are many different kinds of protein available: from whey through to casein. We have researched the highest quality proteins available currently:

1st-Winner:Optimum Nutrition 100% gold Standard Whey
    2nd-Runner-up: CNP Pro-Mass
    3rd-Runner-up: Cel Lab Series Whey
    7th Maximuscle Cyclone

    Ingredients
As previously stated, Cyclone came to popularity as the first of its kind, all-in-one. There have been many new introductions to the market in recent years, each boasting new concoctions of ingredients. All of the products we reviewed for this category are considered all-in-ones, though compound may vary slightly.

    1st-Winner:CEL 1 Stop Synthesis
    2nd-Runner-up: CNP Pro-Solo
    3rd-Runner-up: Maximuscle Cyclone

    Conclusion
Whilst there are clearly many alternatives to Maximuscle Cyclone, the alternative you choose to opt for lies with the reason you buy the product in the first place. During our review stage we were actually very surprised at how Cyclone competed in general, not really excelling in any one area over its peers. It was also surprising to find that new brand CEL faired so well in the light of very strong competition. We hope this article has helped you build a better picture of which protein you should be using. If you have other questions please feel free to ask around the forums. We are always happy to help.

Really interesting little website about the alternatives to Maximuscle Cyclone. I actually was very unaware there were so many different options to be honest!

Yeah, that's quite a good review actually. Ive never been a fan of MaxiMuscle - over hyped and stupidly over priced c**p if you ask me.

Anyone know what the cnp pro mass suitability is as a replacement for Maximuscle Cyclone?

The only other one I hears was any good was PhD Synergy, though someone mentioned that it was good, but rising in price by over 30%. And apparently the main ingredient is being removed? Is that accurate?
