DECIDING TO TAKE THE PLUNDGE

I have finally made up my mind that I am going to try them and I was just wondering what kind of results I should expect?
Choosing to use anabolic steroids is an individual choice. One cannot preach what is correct or incorrect morally on this subject. The fact is true that people are willing to use anabolic steroids for whatever specific reason. I personally believe, that one should not consider using steroids until they have thoroughly researched the subject and decided that it is correct for them. I would also never recommend steroid use if you do not have at least two years of positive weight training experience that has returned you good results. This is just sensible method of cashing in on the enhanced results steroids will bring. I do not agree with those who use anabolic steroids as a chemical drug crutch or solution to their current poor to non existent results, as this leads to nothing other than further frustration. If your muscle and strength progress is not working from the foundations up, then you need to address this issue primarily first and foremost.

Once you have a sound understanding of the subject of anabolic steroids and have a good training history under your belt and you have made up your mind to commence your first cycle, then it is only natural that you will be curious, as to exactly what sort of results you are going to be expecting. This is really a difficult question to answer. Results vary greatly from one individual to the next. As with many things, once you have experience in the field of drug administration, then you may be able to predict quite accurately the typical results, you as an individual, are going to experience. Until you have that experience, then it is never one hundred percent possible to advise a person on their exact results.

It is true that generally, steroid users find that their first cycle is the most dramatic, in terms of the gains that they make. Firstly you will have never experienced anything quite like anabolic steroid use before being your very first cycle. As with anything, you will eventually get used the effects of the drugs, and if you are unfortunate, you will become to expect the results, instead of actually appreciating the enhanced muscle size and strength gain, proper applied application of anabolic steroids can help you to produce.

Results do vary based upon what you are using, and the length of the cycle. Your individual genetics, your training methodology and your diet play important factors. And of course your existing bodyweight and strength level play a vital part in the results that you are going to experience. Now, some users claim to gain a solid thirty pounds on their first cycle, while others notice little, if any gains at all. If you experience no results, you may have purchased fake steroids, have terrible diet and training plans or are just plain unlucky. The majority of the population taking part in their first steroid experience, typically gain around ten to twenty pounds of body weight and may retain around ten to twenty percent of that post cycle. These are good gains.

Obviously, the athlete that has weight trained for a number of years, and continues to train intensely during the cycle and who eats a high calorie nutrient dense diet, stands to put on a lot more muscle than the athletes who are not disciplined enough to follow through with the whole program. I would personally have to condem those that decide to use anabolic steroids, without the intention to back up their decision with effective and well planned diet, nutrition and lifestyle changes. When you use steroids, there is no point in training half hearted, eating crap and sleeping sometimes, drinking and partying. Anabolic Steroids are extremely effective drugs that can assist an athlete become a better athlete. They are not party drugs. If you treat your steroid cycle with less than one hundred percent respect and commitment, then you can expect nothing in return. It is quite simple.

How effective can anabolic steroids be at improving an athletes physique in comparison to an athlete with average genetics training naturally. Well, let us suppose that both athletes are taking their lifestyle to the level where it supports their training and diet with the proper dedication required. The athletes are eating and recovering sufficiently and training appropriately for their body type etc. It has been substantiated that a steroid user taking moderate dosages of Nandrolone Decanoate and Dianabol can gain twice as much muscle mass in a two month cycle than they could in an entire year of effective training naturally. This means that just two or three of these cycles per year can enhance your progress by a whopping 200 - 300%. That's a significant increase in results.

Recently experts have typically justified and analysed that an individual can gain a maximum of around 4 pounds of muscle per year, for every 100 pounds of body weight that they possess. The average 200lb athlete gaining four to five pounds of solid muscle annually is extremely good going. This is probably only ever going to ever happen is the athlete remains injury and illness free, while following a structured and dedicated nutrition program. If you have experience in weight training and physique enhancement, I'm sure that you will agree that a five pound annual gain is very reasonable indeed and would cause a dramatic change to ones physique and strength. For the uneducated who wished to gain a stone in a month, you have to start living in reality and appreciating the truth of real effective bodybuilding science.

The first time steroid user can gain as much as 8 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight in a single ten week cycle. This means that the first time steroid user could gain 16 pounds of muscle in just 2 months. Now this is a frightening experience whilst being equally exciting. I'm sure you can see now why too many people come to rely on steroids as their chemical crutch, soon, not appreciating the exceptional results that they can bring about, but expecting them. The very worst case scenario and the lazy athlete loses sight of the point of continuing their training while off steroids. This becomes the point where one starts to tread the route of failure too many have trodden before.

Of course it is easy to see that the steroid gains are substantially higher than those of the natural athlete. But you should appreciate that the steroid cycle is there to enhance your regular hard work results from time to time. It is not an excuse.

This does not mean that if a person can gain 16 pounds of muscle in two months on a steroid cycle that they could gain 96 pounds of muscle if the athlete were to stay on steroids for twelve months straight. Lets get that straight now. Get excited but don't get dumb. If you have decided to experience your first steroids cycle, then approach it with respect and appreciate your gains. Do not rely on them and never get too greedy. IF people avoided these pitfalls, steroid application would be a safer and more widely acceptable practice. Stupidity and greed give steroid use the name steroid abuse - and that is what you are doing - abusing.

Certain inhibiting factors prohibit that. Evidence suggests that the maximum gains of a steroid cycle are reached before the eighth week.

It is rare for the first time steroid user who eats right and trains hard not to gain at least four or five pounds of solid muscle.
