    Default Weight gain supplement

Multivitamin and mineral supplement is a good concept for weight gain. But make sure you are getting all the
necessary vitamins and minerals taht you need. Some people considered that their muscle mass increases with the help of protein supplements that contain certain blends of amino acids, such as creatine and glutamine.

I wish vitamins and minerals did help with weight gain, but they just ensure that your body 'fires on all cylinders' Protein DOES help repair muscles after a workout and keeps them fed if you ensure a regular intake. For weight gain, you need protein, carbs and fats and tko increase your calories beyond what you are burning up on just living. Btw, creatine isn't an amino acid lol.

Yup what Baz said, when bulking i always eat calorie dense foods that are low or medium gi....olives, cashews, whole eggs etc. I also think eaa/bcaa supplementation is essential whether cutting or bulking. I dont even use whey anymore.

How do you guys feel about the insulin index of meals rather than old school laboratory GI which seems entirely useless in the entire world of reality?...

I reckon it's balls really. 40g Simple sugar has the same amount of kcals as 40g starch, the speed which it's assimilated makes no difference to it's eventual destination - if you're eating more than you need (to maintain OR bulk) you will get fat, if you're eating the right amount of Carbs/Protein/Fat the result will be the same irrespective of actual meal composition/timing.

Also, in a healthy adult who trains intensely and regulary, insulin is really stable - reading stuff on the internet/in mags would have you believe it swings up and down like a monkey on meth
    BULK ON!

    Starting Weight - 148lbs
    Current Weight - 162lbs
    Goal - 220 lbs
