It is certainly beneficial. I tend to stick to the one type of fruit for a while before I become sick of it and move to another. In addition to my other dietary needs, I am currently managing around three oranges a day. I have completely sickened myself with bananas and I go through stages of not even being able to look at bananas. You can certainly tell the difference if you purchase, a more expensive brand name fruit, rather than a supermarkets own brand.
