    Fruit in everyday eating

    How many of you are getting enough fruit within your diet?

    Fruit is a very valuable source of nutrients and should be eaten on a daily basis. Eating fruit daily is one way to improve overall health and to help the body fight off disease. People who eat more fruit within their diet are less prone to develop diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimers, cancer and heart disease.

    Due to the stresses of working longer hours, lifestyle choices and everyday pollutions the body requires more vitamins and nutrients than it did a few decades ago. By eating fruit will help equip the body with these essential nutrients to deal with these everyday life issues and give us the anti-oxidants to help reduce the free radical toxins within the body.

    Fruit is also a good source of dietary fibre which aids in keeping the digestive system working correctly as it helps expel the waste products more efficiently through the system and reduces the build up of toxins in the intestines.

    Eating five portions of fruit daily with a balanced diet will give you the essential nutrients and vitamins to help keep disease away and help reduce the risk of developing -

    • Type 2 diabetes.
    • Cardiovascular disease.
    • Coronary heart disease.
    • Kidney stones and Osteoporosis.
    • Certain kinds of cancers such as mouth, stomach, colon or bowel cancer.

    It is certainly beneficial. I tend to stick to the one type of fruit for a while before I become sick of it and move to another. In addition to my other dietary needs, I am currently managing around three oranges a day. I have completely sickened myself with bananas and I go through stages of not even being able to look at bananas. You can certainly tell the difference if you purchase, a more expensive brand name fruit, rather than a supermarkets own brand.

    Fruits are necessary and best in diet.
    Peach
    Apples
    Grapes and Coconut are best to use, because these are full of vitamins and minerals.
